The Colorado Springs School

A new state-of-the-art field house for volleyball, basket ball and indoor soccer, weight room, separate locker rooms, two large athletic fields with separate scoreboards for soccer and lacrosse. Two miles from campus we have the Bear Creek Park for tennis practices and home matches.

Host Families

We are a day school, but for our 10-15 international students each year, we have a home stay program where students live with a family from the Colorado springs school community. Each student has their own room with a study desk, closet, and dresser drawers. Access to the family’s computer, phone, television is allowed but may be restricted.

Extracurricular Activities

Nine 3 ½ week Experience-Centred-Seminars each year offered to upper school students in Feb/Mar, that include programs run by our faculty in places such as Africa, England, Greece, Costa Rica, Mexico, Hollywood, New Orleans, New Mexico, Chicago, Colorado Springs and elsewhere.

State Championship caliber boys/girls basketball, and girls volleyball. Competitive teams in boys/girls cross-country, boys/girls soccer, boys golf, boys/girls lacrosse and boys/girls tennis.

Three plays/musicals performed each year in our on-campus Performing Arts Center

Mock United Nations group and Knowledge Bowl teams and Drama Clubs that compete state-wide and nationally.
